At CHORDS Academy of the Arts, our vision is to be the leading organization in our region for promoting and celebrating the arts. We strive to create a welcoming and inclusive community that values creativity and artistic expression.

CHORDS Objectives:

·  To increase the productivity of music in schools.

·  To provide youth with a reward for their constant efforts.

·  To cultivate the talents of youth through music, critical thinking skills, and creative writing.

·  To provide youth with the opportunity to participate hands-on using music industry-standard equipment.

·  To increase relationships between youth by engaging them in group activities.

·  To improve the relationship between schools and the community.

·  To decrease issues at school by eliminating idle time and keeping youth focused in a structured environment on school-related programs.

·  To increase access to music within communities and spread music to our youth, providing opportunities not otherwise afforded to them.

·  To increase cultural competency among youth by introducing them to numerous music cultures.

Additional Outcomes:

·  A substantial increase in the youth's knowledge of music will be achieved, contributing to a well-rounded education.

·  Negative behaviors among program participants will decrease significantly.

·  Hands-on training with music programs and instruments will empower youth with practical skills.

·  Daily activities will be enriched through the implementation of performing arts and music fundamentals.

·  The talents of the youth in the program will be cultivated, fostering personal and artistic growth.

·  Encouragement of youth to perform the skills they have learned will contribute to the development of their abilities.

·  The program will serve as a catalyst for increased youth participation in various school programs.

Benefits:·  Youth will spend less time engaging in harmful activities.·  This project will serve as an incentive for most youth, who love music, to display positive behavior at school.·  Youth will learn vocational entrepreneurship skills through music hardware, software, and music production.·  Youth will have the opportunity to perform original material in front of peers and the community.·  Youth will acquire the skills to produce music.·  Introduction to performing arts will contribute to an increase in self-esteem.·  Selected youth will actively participate in choreographing dance moves for performing arts, fostering creativity and expression.

Youth will gain comprehensive knowledge of the fundamentals of reading, playing, and producing music.·  There is a possibility that youth will develop a sustained interest in and continue pursuing music after completing the program.·  Youth will actively participate in live performances, showcasing their talents in front of the community, school, and family.·  Cultural competence in various music genres will be fostered among the youth.·  Improvement in creative writing and critical thinking skills will be evident in the participating youth.·  Positive behaviors will be on the rise among the youth.·  Increased interest and involvement in school activities will be observed among program participants.
